About Us

Who we are

Founded by Chemist Leila Haj Nassar, with over seven years of experience in the Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical industries, 100 AND 1 Cosmetics was born - free of filler ingredients and chemical preservatives, focused on clean formulas tailored to achieve healthy skin. Blending years of scientific research with the rich Moroccan beauty traditions she grew up with, Leila developed a brand that redefines beauty as a ritual of care, heritage, and science.

In building the brand, Leila found a kindred spirit in Fatima Rosa, a resilient, powerhouse entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the beauty and wellness industry. Beyond operational excellence Fatima embodies the heart and values of 100 AND 1. Driven by a deep commitment to community and impact, she has actively supported organizations such as Best Buddies, Lotus House, and Camillus House. In her role as Executive Chair of the United Way’s Small Business Committee, she empowers fellow entrepreneurs to grow with purpose, lead with integrity, and create meaningful change.

What we stand for

100 AND 1 Cosmetics is a water-free, sustainable skincare brand inspired by Moroccan ingredients, committed to delivering quality, potency and performance in every product.

We define luxury not by our packaging but by the efficacy and purity of our formulas. By excluding filler ingredients like water and using 100 and 1 carefully selected ingredients, we meticulously craft each of our products to deliver exactly what your skin needs.

At 100 AND 1 we take pride in harnessing Morocco’s richest botanical oils and hydrosols to help you achieve healthy skin at every age, shade and texture.

Our Inspiration

As a women-owned business, we take pride in drawing our inspiration from the Amazigh women of Morocco, represented in our logo. Indigenous to Morocco, Amazigh women have always held a high status in traditional Moroccan society. From leading roles in the military to managing economic, social, cultural, or even religious affairs, Amazigh women were highly respected and viewed as a source of life and wealth.

Over the years, Amazigh women used their artistic skills to hand-weave carpets and produce textiles and beauty products to help maintain their households. Today, Amazigh women continue to lead in Morocco’s Argan oil production, empowering women and inspiring us at 100 AND 1 Cosmetics to stand for women's equality and autonomy in today's society.
